When the Pursuit of Cobra wave 6 figures started appearing on eBay and then arrived in retail in the U.S. it left many of us wondering what happened to wave 5. We now have an answer to that question: they're on eBay. Hong Kong seller thecrowgirl has the wave 5 figures listed for auction with some tempting instant army lots of Steel Brigade, Jungle B.A.T.S. and Cobra Troopers.

This is one of the good example I was talking about chinese seller taking profit from Hasbro. They don't have control over what is happening inside the plant.
Agreed, but do you also think it suggests that Hasbro is not functioning properly from the perspective of meeting demand for these figures? There are so many army builder lots that people are constantly buying from these Chinese eBay sellers that it just seems like Hasbro is missing a huge selling opportunity.
I would suggest is it possible for Hasbro to sell figures loose for fans that army builds. At least they could help out the environment by saving the packaging, and also it will be a lot cheaper to produce since the product will be stored in a much smaller places and less production cost.
That is reminiscent of the direct-to-consumer, mail-order business model Hasbro had in the 80s. We'd love to see in package catalogs and flag points updated to utilize newer point-of-sales methods like HasbroToyShop.com.
