Hasbro's G.I. Joe Q&A 2011 Round 6: The Answers

To our disappointment, Hasbro decided not to answer any of our questions for this round of their G.I. Joe Q&A. We thought we had some pretty good questions that fit within their Q&A parameters so we've posted, nonetheless.

UPDATE: According to Hunter PR, our questions were never received by their team. We're attempting to see if we can get a response, in the meantime.

Sideshow Collectibles Announces Baroness Premium Format Figure

Sideshow Collectibles 1:4-scale Baroness premium format figure is now available for pre-order. Standing 22-inches tall, the Baroness premium format figure features a fabric costume with the Baroness' signature glasses, a sidearm holster with 1911 .45 caliber pistol, and AR Assault Rifle. For the exclusive collector, Sideshow is producing a limited number of Baroness figures with a switch-out hand with MAC-10 Machine Pistol. The Baroness premium format figure rings in at $349.99 and is estimated to ship in the third quarter of 2012.

Sideshow Collectibles Black Dragon Ninja 12-Inch Figure Revealed

Sideshow Collectibles has revealed the next figure in their 12-inch G.I. Joe line, the Black Dragon Ninja. Available for pre-order now, the Black Dragon Ninja is equipped with six hira shuriken (throwing stars), a kyoketsu-shoge and a nodachi sword with scabbard. An exclusive version of the Black Dragon Ninja, limited to 750 pieces, includes an alternate scarred portrait with sculpted armor style mask. Both versions will sell for $134.99 with a $13.50 non-refundable deposit required for orders of two or more. The Black Dragon Ninja is schedule to ship in the second quarter of 2012.

G.I. Joe Collectors' Club Pumps You Up For Big Boa

The G.I. Joe Collectors' Club took to Facebook to recruit some new "likes" for its fan page. In return for enough "likes," the club promised it would post a gallery of photos for Big Boa, its recently announced subscription service figure. It looks like the promise of seeing more photos of Big Boa pumped up enough fans and the gallery is up on the club's Facebook fan page.

Final Figure Revealed in G.I. Joe Club's Subscription Service

The  G.I. Joe Collectors' Club revealed the 12th and final figure in its upcoming subscription service, Cobra trainer Big Boa. Big Boa comes equipped with interchangeable boxing gloves, a dumbbell free-weight, pugil sticks and a sparring mask--all to whip your Cobra Troopers into shape! The figure subscription service will ship a pair of exclusive figures over six months for a total of 12 figures, including a bonus, yet-to-be-announced, 13th figure for those committing for the full six months. Collectors' Club Reveals Subscription Service Figure 10

The G.I. Joe Collectors' Club revealed the tenth figure in it's figure subscription service, Military Police Officer Sure Fire. This version of Sure Fire is based on the character's second figure release, which was included in the 2002 G.I. Joe vs Cobra two pack that also included Cobra ninja Slice. This will be the first time Sure Fire is available on a single card, as the character's first figure was also part of a two pack that included Low-Light. The subscription service will ship a pair of exclusive figures over six months for a total of 12 figures, including a bonus 13th figure for those committing for the full six months.
