G.I. Joe: Retaliation Delayed Until March 2013
Hasbro has announced that the release date for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been pushed back from June 29, 2012 to March 29, 2013. The nine month delay is being attributed to a desire to convert the Jon Chu directed flick to 3-D and we've received credible intel that the film's distribution partner, Paramount Pictures, made the call on the date change. In the meantime, Hasbro's other summer blockbuster Battleship--distributed by Universal Pictures--made a paltry $25 million in it's opening weekend.
