The conversation starts at about 9:20 if you want to scrub right into it. Hasbro Confirms No Retaliation Figures for UK
Our feet on the floor in London at The Toy Fair are reporting Hasbro UK has confirmed there are no plans to bring G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie figures across the pond. While Hasbro's position remains unchanged from last year, there were hopes the film's delay and 3-D conversion (in part to appeal to international movie-goers) would entice the toy maker to extend their Retaliation lineup into the United Kingdom.

First Glimpse at Hot Toys' G.I. Joe: Retaliation Roadblock
Hot Toys has unveiled some of their work-in-progress projects for 2013, giving us our first glimpse of their G.I. Joe: Retaliation Roadblock and Storm Shadow figures. Based on the likenesses of actors Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Byung-Hun Lee, respectively, the figures are mixed in with a hodgepodge of other licensed work and are a difficult to make out. However, a keen eye will spot the bald-headed, muscular figure with tattooed arms, armor-protected upper torso and camouflaged pants, and white-clad ninja figure equipped with a sword (good eye @EopieHerder) directly to the right of The Bat from The Dark Knight Rises. Release dates for Roadblock and Storm Shadow haven't been confirmed at this time, but those anxious to start their Hot Toys G.I. Joe: Retaliation collection can pre-order Snake Eyes, who went on sale last week.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation Re-Shoot Not Focused Around Duke
The re-shoots that delayed the opening of G.I. Joe: Retaliation from June 2012 to March of this year were not focused around Channing Tatum's Duke character, according to CraveOnline. "That is a complete rumor," the film's producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura told Crave. In a brief interview with Di Bonaventura, Crave learned that Tatum's participation in the 3-day re-shoot lasted only 4-5 hours and that the final cut of the film is not much different than the original. G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens in theaters on March 29, 2013.
Comics: Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow #16

G.I. Joe Deals at Amazon
We noticed a few good deals on G.I. Joe items at Amazon and wanted to pass them along. First, Amazon has its exclusive G.I. Joe: Retaliation sneak peek 4-pack in stock and the price has been taking a roller coaster ride for the last few days. We've seen it go from as low as $10 to as high as $40, so you'll want to keep an eye on it if you haven't picked one up yet. While none of the figures in the 4-pack are new, the stands and file cards are unique to the set. Amazon also has the 2-disc digital copy edition G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra DVD marked down to $5 (normally $34.98). The 2-disc set is about $2 less than the single disc version and includes a digital copy. A digital copy allows you to save a copy of the movie to your computer for easy viewing and transfer between your personal devices like an iPad or iPod and is a great way to take the movie with you on the go.

Hot Toys Announces Additional G.I Joe: Retaliation Figures

It appears Hot Toys' reveal of Snake Eyes, in their newly announced G.I. Joe: Retaliation line, was just an appetizer for a grander main course.
"After our launch of the Snake Eyes collectible last week, some fans may wish to have more collectibles of different characters from the upcoming G.I. Joe Retaliation movie. Good news for fans - we are going to launch the collectible figures of Joe Colton, Roadblock and Storm Shadow featuring the likeness of talents."
Noticeably missing for the list is Channing Tatum's Duke, but we suspect that may change. Start saving those pennies now!
